I've been involved in triathlons since 1996 and have moved up to HIM and IM distances as my kids have grown older and don't need/want me around as much. It has been a wonderful lifestyle and journey to challenge myself. Along the way I've been lucky to develop friendships throughout.
My day job is as a pulmonary critical care physician. I've always been able to use triathlon to provide much needed respite from work but this is more than ever true over the past 2 years.
