I grew up in Ohio. I've been a runner my whole life. I met my husband in Cincinnati we married and moved all over the midwest. In 2009 I started racing triathlon with the goal to be to complete an Ironman. I've fallen in love with the sport, the people and the lifestyle. In 2015 I had 2 major surgeries to address External Illiac Endofibrosis. Since then I have recovered and returned to racing well. It is important to me to spread awareness about EIAE to other athletes who may be uninformed. I also love helping new women enter the sport. My life outside triathlon includes homeschooling my daughter and traveling as much as possible.
