I've been racing tris since 2000 and using Infinit since 2005. I still use the same formula I developed way back then and conservatively estimate that Infinit has fueled me over 60,000 miles -- six IMs, 18 1/2 IMs, countless Olympic distance races and centuries, and all of the long training rides and runs along the way. .

My Why: My "why" has changed during the 21 years I've been competing in triathlon. Initially, it was a way to use the fitness I'd gained while going through a divorce (exercise was a huge stress reliever for me, and when I saw an ad for a women's triathlon, I figured I'd never been in better shape, so it was then or never). As the years progressed and my race distances increased, triathlon became a source of self-confidence when facing challenging times (if I can do two IMs in a single year, I can certainly deal with this stressful situation at work). More recently, triathlon has become an excuse to travel, meet, race against, and learn from other "mature" athletes. That's the beauty of triathlon for me -- it has been a part of my life for so long that it has grown with me as much as I have grown with it. Like any good relationship, we have our good days and our bad ones, but we are stronger together than we are apart.

I love all distances but will be focused on Olympic and 1/2 IMs during 2019. My dog was awarded first place in an Infinit pet beauty contest — we both love Infinit Nutrition.

I live in a suburb of Sacramento, CA and work at the CA State Capitol. Love to travel and hike (and hike while traveling) when I’m not racing or playing with my dog.
