Army Attack Helicopter Pilot currently serving on active duty in the Army. I've been a runner my entire adult life, but only a triathlete for 3 seasons. My husband also races so sometimes we train together. I'm active in my local tri club and have an aggressive race schedule this next season! This year as an AWA I completed 2x IM 70.3, finished 2nd female overall in 2 local races and qualified for AG nationals. While I consider myself type A, I find a great source of my motivation comes in complimenting and cheering on fellow athletes along the course. I once had a coach tell me it's impossible to say, "I'm miserable" with a smile on your face....so no matter how much it hurts, I try to always race with a positive attitude and a huge grin!
