Husband of 35 years, raised six kids, and owner of a successful financial planning business. Got into running at age 51 and have become an avid trail/ultra runner. I sign up for the most difficult races I can find and thrive on the challenge of pushing myself to accomplish more than I thought possible. I may not be the fastest runner or most talented, but I am stubbornly determined. Aside from training and racing, I also participate in a number of Facebook groups dedicated to the sport as a means of encouraging and supporting others in the their journeys.
